Saturday: 11 am – 4 pm
Placing Holds
There are four fast and easy ways to order library materials:
- Order online through the CLAMS catalog.
- Call 508-645-2314 and leave a message with your request. Make sure you leave your full name and/or library card number.
- Email aq_mail@clamsnet.org with your request. Make sure you include your full name, phone and/or library card number.
- Use the CLAMS app to request materials.
Hold Notification & Pickup
We will notify you via email or phone when your hold is ready. Patrons can pick up their materials any time during our open hours. Please let us know if you require pickup outside of our open hours and we will make arrangements.
- Everyone picking up holds will be asked to show a library card or photo ID.
- If you send someone else to pick up your holds, you must notify the library prior to their arrival.
Returning Library Materials
Materials can be returned inside the library when you visit or in the exterior book drop when the library is closed. We have been fine free since January 2020, so you will not incur late fees.
Renewals
Materials that do not have requests from other patrons will automatically renew up to three times.
Get a Library Card
Massachusetts residents and property owners can get a free Aquinnah Public Library card. People from out of state may get a temporary library card for a one-time $10 fee, which allows them to check out up to ten items at a time. Fill out this application, then come to the library, show us your ID, and pick up your library card.
