Program Coordinator/Library Associate

The Aquinnah Public Library seeks a creative, organized, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position has a strong focus on programming and children’s services. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required and library experience preferred; one year’s prior relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education or work experience will be considered. Computer and database management skills are a must. Year-round, 20.5 hour benefited position requires Saturdays and evenings. $29.97/hour. Circulation Coordinator/Library Associate

The Aquinnah Public Library seeks a creative, organized, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position is responsible for managing the circulation of library materials within the Integrated Library System, assisting library patrons in using the CLAMS system and digital resources, and acts as local liaison with the network on circulation matters. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required and library experience preferred; one year’s prior relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education or work experience will be considered. Computer and database management skills are a must. Year-round, 20.5 hour benefited position requires Saturdays and evenings. $29.97/hour.
